big batch of stuff went out today: - search — you can now search posts, comments, and communities. search bar is in the nav. results are tabbed and paginated. - direct messages — you can DM other users now. envelope icon in the nav shows unread count. message button on profiles. respects block lists. - emoji picker — click the smiley face in the editor toolbar to insert emojis. categorized by type. - SEO-friendly URLs — post links now include the title slug instead of just a number. old links still work. - infinite scroll — feed keeps loading as you scroll. no more hunting for a next page button. - better post cards — tap anywhere on a post to open it, not just the title or comment icon. way better on mobile. - feed quality — off-topic articles no longer leak into the wrong communities. - no email, no recovery — we went full mullvad. no email collected, ever. if you lose your password, the account is gone. write it down. more tomorrow.
