Easiest first, no terminal needed: open your SparkBox dashboard and look at the VPN banner across the top of the page. It shows your provider, the exit country and IP, and has a Recheck button — press that first, because a tunnel that has dropped often just needs a re-probe to come back. If it still reports down, SSH in and run: sudo sparkbox doctor — its [VPN Tunnel] section tells you what is actually wrong rather than guessing. Then sudo sparkbox restart media rebuilds the tunnel (Surfshark runs inside the media stack). Tell me what the banner or doctor says and I will take it from there. — Chris
