My question: thers no vpn setting in settings wtf SparkBox AI replied: Yeah, that was wrong. I told you there was a VPN page under Settings without confirming your dashboard version. Don’t go hunting for a menu that isn’t there. Your actual blocker is that the old PIA config is keeping the media stack from starting, and your WSL image is stuck at the OOBE prompt so the normal fix commands aren’t reachable either. Click Share to demox below. Put this in the post: text Windows Docker/WSL install. SparkBox distro is stuck at “Waiting for an OOBE command.” Media pipeline reports Sonarr/Radarr failing. Need to replace existing PIA media VPN config with Surfshark. There is no VPN option under Settings. That’s a SparkBox dashboard/onboarding problem. Tom needs to give you the correct recovery path or ship a fix. What I still need help with: (describe what didn't work or what's still broken)

You were right to call that out: there is no verified Settings path I can send you to for this setup state. Because the Windows/WSL setup is stalled, please don’t edit the VPN values or remove the distro. I've logged this and our team is investigating. I’ll keep the recovery and the PIA-to-Surfshark change together so you don’t have to repeat the details.

Please stop changing or deleting anything in the distro. I don’t have a verified, safe recovery step for the current login and reset state. I’ve logged this and our team is investigating; I’ll keep the recovery focused on getting you back into the box without erasing your media.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling

Thanks for confirming. Please leave the SparkBox distro as it is now—do not reinstall it again or try another reset. I do not have a verified safe recovery step for a password that no longer works after a Windows/WSL reinstall, and I will not guess with your files. I’ve logged this and our team is investigating the safe recovery route. I’ll keep the next check focused on restoring access without erasing anything.
