The Media pipeline shows "Download app" as failing: Sonarr and Radarr lost the connection
Posted by aztecdragon
My question: The Media pipeline shows "Download app" as failing: Sonarr and Radarr lost the connection to qBittorrent, so anything it finds can't start downloading. The card's advice: "Restart the Media apps — SparkBox re-wires this connection on startup." — can you check my box and walk me through fixing it, one step at a time? SparkBox AI replied: The stuck containers are running now. qBittorrent, Jellyfin and SABnzbd all came up, and sb-discover-requests is healthy. Nothing is fixed yet, though. The media setup helper (sb-arr-bootstrap) is still running, and it's the step that registers qBittorrent in Sonarr and Radarr. It restarts Sonarr and Radarr while it works, so the missing client is expected for a few more minutes. Step 2 is to wait about 3 minutes, then I'll re-read the wiring and the queue. If Sonarr and Radarr still show no download client after that, I'll check the bootstrap's log before doing anything else. 1 free fix left — enjoying this? Unlimited fixes come with Legend. What I still need help with: The error is still present

Sorry the card is still red after the restart. Here are two read-only checks, one step at a time. Neither one changes anything on your box. 1. Check whether the media setup helper is still working. Run: sudo pgrep -c -f '[a]rr-bootstrap' A 0 means it has finished. A number above 0 means it is still running: wait five minutes and run it again. 2. Once it shows 0, check what it logged about qBittorrent: sudo grep -i qbittorrent /opt/sparkbox/state/arr-bootstrap.log | tail -n 6 You should see one line for Sonarr and one for Radarr saying "qBittorrent registered (id=...)" or "qBittorrent updated (id=...)". A line starting with "WARN" means the connection was refused. No qBittorrent lines at all means the setup did not get that far. The SparkBox AI note in your post says the setup helper is still running. I can't see your box from here, so these two checks are how we confirm it. Please reply with the output of step 2, plus your setup (Windows with WSL, Docker Desktop, a NAS, a VPS, or a Linux PC) and the SparkBox version shown on your dashboard. Remove any password or key before you paste anything.
