Good news — this one is already fixed, so you don't need to set that secret by hand. On your version (1.6.407) SparkBox tried to write its temporary secret file next to a read-only location and hit a permission error, so it stopped before finishing the install. Tom shipped a fix for exactly this in the latest release — it now writes that temp file to a writable spot. Just update and re-add the app: run sudo sparkbox update, then toggle Speed Test Tracker back on from your Apps page and it should install cleanly. If it still stops, paste the fresh log here and I'll get it straight to Tom.

Coming back to correct one word in that, and it is on me. sudo sparkbox update only refreshes app images for the release you are already on — it cannot move you off 1.6.407, so if that is still your version the permission fix never actually arrived and the install would stop the same way. The command that gets it is: sudo sparkbox upgrade It preserves your settings, data and app config. Once it finishes, toggle Speed Test Tracker back on from the Apps page. If it still stops, paste the fresh log here and I will get it to Tom.
