SparkBox releases shipped on Thu Nov 5, 2026 (UTC), in order, newest at the bottom. This thread is updated as releases land during the day. Update from the SparkBox dashboard, or run sudo sparkbox upgrade on your SparkBox host. Legend boxes get every release the day it ships; free boxes get it after it has run there for a week. Get started only adds apps now; it never removes one. - Home page: if the VPN status can't be read for a moment, the page says "VPN status unavailable" instead of "VPN not configured", and checks again on its next refresh. - Doctor on a cloud server says once that there's no graphics card, instead of two lines that contradicted each other. - A dashboard port you moved after install is now opened in the firewall, and sparkbox urls shows the dashboard on that port. - sparkbox up no longer warns that the firewall refused a port when the Media Center, Local AI or BookOrbit is on. v1.7.36 — No more stuck background processes, and install opens the right firewall ports - The dashboard no longer leaves stuck background processes piling up on your server. - Installing or reinstalling now opens the same firewall ports as sparkbox up, including ports you changed in your settings, and no longer adds a stray port-0 rule.
