Install SparkBox on the laptop (it wants Ubuntu Linux on it), and let the UGREEN do nothing but hold files: share your media folder from UGOS over the network, mount that share on the laptop, then point SparkBox's media folder at it — one line in its settings file. The laptop then does all the heavy lifting like streaming conversions while the NAS just serves files, and your 2.5G wired link is plenty for that.
