Hi Strugglz, thanks for posting. Here's what's going on, in plain words. "Custom" means the country setting is ignored. When the VPN provider is set to Other / Custom, SparkBox connects to the one server written in your WireGuard settings, and the VPN country and city boxes aren't used at all. So if the assistant had you set the VPN country to United States, that didn't change anything. That's our mistake, not yours. We've fixed the assistant so it explains this properly, and that fix goes out in the next update. SparkBox has ProtonVPN built in, so you don't need Custom. Switching back lets you pick the country normally: 1. In the dashboard, open Settings → Network → VPN → Edit VPN settings. 2. Set VPN Provider to ProtonVPN and leave Protocol on WireGuard. 3. Leave WireGuard Private Key blank to keep the Proton key you already saved, or paste a fresh one from Proton's WireGuard config page. 4. Set WireGuard Address to 10.2.0.2/32, which is the address in Proton's config files. 5. Type a country into VPN Server Country, for example United States. 6. Open Advanced — custom / unlisted provider and clear Server IP and Server Port. Those only apply to Custom. 7. Click Save & Restart. Downloads pause for about 30 seconds while the VPN reconnects. After that, can you tell me what still isn't working? For example: downloads not starting, a search finding nothing, or an error message (copy its exact words). With that, I can point you to the next step.
