You’re right — Prowlarr should not ask for a login when opened from your home network. I’ve logged this and our team is investigating why that setting did not apply. Please don’t share any passwords here; I’ll check the secure recovery step next.

ya radar and sonar started to do the same so i have to nuke it and start over to access anything i do really like your set up though.

Please don’t reinstall. In the SparkBox dashboard, go to Settings → General and switch on “Trust my LAN — skip login on Sonarr / Radarr / Prowlarr.” It controls all three apps together, which matches what you’re seeing. Use it only for your home network; it should stay off for public access.

yes when i turned that on is when i got booted from everything

That toggle restarts all three apps, so it ends the browser sessions that were open. Use one fresh route now: SparkBox dashboard → Home → Prowlarr. It should reopen without a sign-in from your home network.

Yes i understand that is how it is supposed to work. when i toggled the setting on that is when i was logged out of all and now asking for login info

I don’t have a verified one-step recovery yet. The setting should leave Prowlarr, Radarr, and Sonarr open on a home network, so this is not normal. I’ve logged it and our team is investigating. Please don’t reinstall or create a replacement password; I’ll check the authentication-setting change against this report and return with the verified recovery.

Sorry for the wait on this one. We found the cause: when SparkBox set up Sonarr, Radarr and Prowlarr it created an admin login for each of them but never showed it to you, so the moment the apps asked for a login there was nothing to type. v1.6.705 fixes that: the login now appears in the dashboard under Settings → Service Passwords, and in the app's first-login popup. Run sudo sparkbox upgrade, then open Settings → Service Passwords and use the Sonarr, Radarr and Prowlarr entries to sign in. No reinstall needed. If the entries are still not there after the upgrade, run this in the box's terminal and paste what it prints (it shows only the login method, no passwords): sudo grep -H '<Authentication' /opt/sparkbox/modules/media/config//config.xml
