Newer versions of Android are better than previous versions: more features, better security, etc. However, each device, for one unique individual, can have problems with the current/newer Android version. Rolling back an update/ version may be what a person needs to get their phone working again. I never had a problem with any Android version so far, but I know from experience using computers. Since many computer operating systems have rollback features in case an update goes south, it becomes very handy. If it were me, I would want this on my Android phone as well.
