Patch shipped: v1.6.516 — apps missing after an update, and Skip Tour not saving

Two fixes are out. If you updated and a newly-added app never turned up in your Apps list — the Games app is where people caught it — that's fixed. Your box could land on the newest version number while quietly skipping apps that were added a few releases back, so it looked fully up to date when it wasn't. It now checks how far behind it actually is before taking any shortcuts. If this hit you, updating repairs it on its own. You don't need to reinstall anything or run the installer by hand. Also fixed: Skip Tour and Finish Tour now save properly, so the welcome tour stops reappearing every time you restart. To get both: sudo sparkbox update Thanks to Shexter for flagging the missing Games app and posting the workaround that helped other people in the meantime, and to Wolf21 and TheL for the tour report — Wolf21 pulled the exact error out of the browser's dev tools, which is what pinned it down. Reports like that turn a vague "it doesn't stick" into a one-line fix.
