It's great news to hear that AI won't be receiving an award from the Oscars. For centuries, it was humans who put in the work for films and TV Shows. It was humans who had the idea, wrote the show/film, produced it, etc. When I research how long a movie has been in production (from beginning to the end), it's hard work. Even though we only get to see the final product. Yes, AI can be useful/helpful in certain instances. However, AI would never fill the shoes of famous writers/actors who made the movie what it should be. I have seen my fair share of AI videos, and to be honest, videos by humans are so much better.
