For the everyday 'keep my library named consistently' job, Sonarr/Radarr's built-in rename (Settings - Media Management) covers what most people reach Filebot for, fully automatic on import plus a bulk Rename tool for your existing files. If there's a specific thing you do in Filebot that the arr rename can't — a particular naming pattern, or a one-off batch job on files that aren't from the arr apps — tell me what it is and I'll see how close we can get you. Either way it's noted.

The media apps SparkBox installs (Sonarr for TV, Radarr for movies) automatically rename and organize files as they import them, using a naming pattern you control. In Sonarr or Radarr, go to Settings - Media Management, turn on 'Rename Episodes/Movies', and set the exact format you want (titles, quality, year, and so on). There's also a 'Rename' tool right there that cleans up your existing library in place. For most people that covers what Filebot does, already wired into your setup. I'll log the Filebot request too, in case there's something specific it does that the arr apps don't — if so, tell me the renaming trick you're after and I'll point you to it. Want a hand setting up the naming format?

The arr apps only rename what they can match against TheTVDB/TMDB, so anything that doesn't match (oddly-named releases, obscure stuff, your own folders) gets left as-is. Filebot's real strength is exactly that: renaming content the arr apps won't touch. I've sharpened the feature note with your specifics, because that's a real gap, not a duplicate of what we have. In the meantime, for unmatched files Sonarr/Radarr's 'Manual Import' lets you hand-map them one by one — but I won't pretend that's as smooth as Filebot for a bulk pile. I have discovered that filebot will work on my old MacBook Pro, so for now I am using it there to rename my files on a backup drive. I will at the end, delete and re-upload the files to my NAS. But ultimately I would love to see this intergrated into the Sparkbox, while I understand that Plex may not be the best choice, Filebot allows for naming structures to work with most media player. I'm running Plex on a backup server, with my backup drive. Hoping to see changes in real time., If all go right, I should be able to reload my nas and Sonarr/Radarr will see the changes and update accordingly.
