Spent all day working on it. I think its in a pretty good spot with some new modules as well like weather and a few other additions. Still a bit buggy but making progress! Do you guys like it better than v1?

Love hearing that, thanks tdyoung8, that's exactly what we were going for with V2. And thanks to everyone here for the honest feedback: DocSenna, the mobile bits you flagged (the weather-tile location box not showing on phones, the Overview tiles cut off in portrait, and the launcher acting up) are all logged and being worked on. Seez, totally fair on the branding, noted too. Keep it coming, this back-and-forth is exactly how V2 gets sharp.

To be honest, I preferred the previous branding (SparkBox) but it still looks good. 😊

Wallsy — yes you can! Click the temperature number on the weather card and it toggles between °F and °C and remembers your choice. That was added in v1.6.311 — grab it with sudo sparkbox update if you haven't already. iBangax132 — that Tdarr config wipe is a bug we fixed in v1.6.263. What likely happened is your update crossed that version, so it reset once on the way through. Your Tdarr config should stick from here — if it wipes again after another update, let me know.

I’m loving the new setup, and it seems to work well on desktop, but it doesn’t scale well on mobile. Everything I’ve tried on mobile works so far, it just doesn’t fit well on the screen yet. I have to say very well don’t for how much you did in such a short amount of time! I hope you get to sleep the whole weekend now haha you deserve a little break!

Thank you for this feedback. Mobile optimization is coming today. 😀. Check back in a few hours and let me know any bugs you find and that helps!

Mobile (iPhone) looks much better! I was able to set my location for the weather tile using a desktop (macOS), but when I first tried to set the tile on mobile nothing would show up to enter the location. On the Overview screen the tiles are cut off on the right and cannot scroll when using portrait mode, but seem to show up well in landscape. The launcher isn't working well currently on either. it seems like it is adding a /v2/ that may be breaking something with the apps while I'm logged into the dashboard using a custom domain. When I log into the beta using the ip address the launcher works fine. It seems like the display name isn't saving when the web browser reloads. Again, great job tackling all of this in such a short amount of time! You are doing great! 😀

Think it looks great - just updated although i updated it and it removed all my tdarr configuration - unsure if i was supposed to do something before hand but thought a note around this might help as im unsure if any other config was lost for others

I'm very new to the whole environment but definitely like the new dashboard more. One very important question regarding the weather widget - can we change the temperature to metric?

Is there a way to get Updates faster? A lot of my images seem to be behind a few releases and obviously I don’t want them to be overwritten with News SparkBox Updates.

I know I am a little late to the party (busy with work), but I wanted to come and say I love the new dashboard! Great Job!

Great question! You can pull updates on demand with two commands: sparkbox update refreshes all your app images to the latest versions, and sparkbox upgrade updates SparkBox itself. Running either will skip any releases you've missed. Docker images are ephemeral and get replaced during updates, but your config and data live in volumes—they persist and survive every update. You won't lose anything. If you need to stay current, just run those two commands regularly (or whenever you see them available in Settings Updates).
