Hello, I have completely set up the Media Center stack and gotten the VPN setup in the settings, and had to when installing the services. The status bar on all the services is healthy, but when prompted to open up Prowler and set up indexes. The service doesn't work. It redirects me to a page, but it just says This site can’t be reached 172.29.76.129 took too long to respond.

Good news — your setup's fine, you didn't break anything. That 172.29 address is SparkBox's own internal network that only works from inside the server itself, so your browser out here can never reach it — that's why it just spins and times out. Open Prowlarr the easy way instead: on your SparkBox dashboard, click the Prowlarr tile and it'll take you straight to the right address. One quick thing so I can rule out a dashboard glitch — did that 172.29 link come from the Prowlarr button on the dashboard, or from a link inside Prowlarr's own setup screen?

That 172.29 is SparkBox's internal address, and it's showing up on both the banner and the app buttons because it's the address you're currently using to reach the dashboard itself, so everything inherits it. The apps live behind the VPN and can't be reached at that internal address — that's why it just times out. The fix: open SparkBox using your NAS's normal home-network address instead, the 192.168.x.x one, like http://192.168.1.50:8443. Once the dashboard loads that way, the Prowlarr button and the banner link will both point to the right place. To reach Prowlarr right now, use that same NAS address with :8181 on the end. Quick check so I'm sure — what address do you type in to open SparkBox?

No worries, let's narrow it down. So 172.29.76.129 is just the address your network assigned your NAS — that's totally fine, some routers hand out 172 addresses instead of the usual 192.168. Since the dashboard loads there, Prowlarr should be reachable too. One quick test: open a brand-new browser tab and go straight to http://172.29.76.129:8181 — that's Prowlarr's own address. Tell me exactly what you see — does Prowlarr's login page come up, or does it time out the same way? That tells me whether it's just a firewall setting on the media apps I need to flip for you.

I actually got it! The info you provided me led me in the right direction, and then I just explored from there. You were right, I needed to get my IP for the server (got that through Ubuntu), then put the port:8181 at the end. Now that I have that set up, thanks to your help, I am working on following through the rest of the video. Any further advice or things I should explore? I may end up messaging here if I get stuck again.

Main next step: add at least one indexer inside Prowlarr (that's what the original banner was nudging you toward) — without one, Sonarr and Radarr have nothing to search, so downloads never start. Once Prowlarr has an indexer, SparkBox has already wired it to the rest for you, so requests should begin flowing. Handy tip: bookmark each app's direct address (your-server-IP plus the port) since your network uses the 172 range — saves you hunting for it. And yeah, message anytime you get stuck, happy to help.
