Caught the bug — that error was leftover Pro-tier gating from before SparkBox went free in v1.6.3. The Custom Domain wizard has nothing to do with the license worker (it just talks to your local NPM), so the strict gate was wrong. Just shipped v1.6.94 with three /api/domains routes flipped to the normal license-or-skip-marker gate. Run sudo /opt/sparkbox/sparkbox update and try the wizard again — should land on the proxy-host creation step directly. Separately, for the DNS side: yes, your No-IP DDNS needs to point sparky.yourdomain.com at your WAN IP, and then either your Home Assistant NPM forwards to the SparkBox NAS internal IP on the right port, or you skip the HA NPM and point DDNS straight at the SparkBox NPM. Either flow works — depends which reverse proxy you want as your main entry point.
