why does apple keep playing hardball with parts availability while preaching sustainability

so apple's selling parts for seven new devices now, which is technically good for repairability, but they're still charging premium prices and the selection feels oddly limited compared to what actually needs replacing. it's like they're doing the bare minimum to look good on sustainability while making sure you still can't actually fix half the stuff that breaks. feels like damage control after years of right-to-repair pressure rather than genuine commitment.
