Can't Create Link Post

I tried searching for answers, but I couldn't find any information about it. A couple of times now, I've been trying to create a Link Post on some of these demoxes. However, every time I try, I get an error saying: New accounts cannot create link posts yet. Keep participating to unlock this feature. Therefore, what requirements does a user need to create a link post? Thank you.
