SparkBox patches — Tue Nov 3, 2026
Posted by Chris
SparkBox releases shipped on Tue Nov 3, 2026 (UTC), in order, newest at the bottom. This thread is updated as releases land during the day. Update from the SparkBox dashboard, or run sudo sparkbox upgrade on your SparkBox host. Legend boxes get every release the day it ships; free boxes get it after it has run there for a week. If a problem remains after updating, submit a private support ticket or reply below with the app name, what you expected, and what happened instead. This often happens on Ubuntu Server, which uses only part of a big drive unless you tell it otherwise. - If the installer stops, it now says which step it stopped at. Before, a line like 'curl: (23) Failure writing output' was often the only clue, and it did not say what went wrong. - On ARM boxes, such as a Raspberry Pi or a UGREEN DH-series NAS, the installer now says plainly that ARM is not officially supported. It still installs. - Windows: the Start menu now has an 'Uninstall SparkBox' entry. - New help in the guides: getting back unused space on Ubuntu, adding a second drive, what to do if apps vanish after you update them from your NAS's Docker screen, 'localhost refused to connect' and uninstalling on Windows, and why ProtonVPN Free does not work.
