Hi Technofly17, good to hear your network is sorted. It is neither GitHub nor Docker Hub. That message means the account running the command can't open Docker's control socket on this VM, so the image download never starts. First, run this on the VM: sudo sparkbox up Use sudo and let it run to the end. Its start-up checks also look at the Docker socket's permissions, so it repairs them if they have drifted. If it still says permission denied, run these two read-only checks and paste the output here: ls -l /var/run/docker.sock id -nG The socket should show root as owner and docker as group, and the id line should include docker. If docker is missing from that list, that is the cause, and I'll give you the one command to add your user to it. Also send the output of sparkbox --version so I know which release this box is on.

Glad it's up, and thanks for confirming. The "permission denied" message came from running sparkbox up without sudo: the Docker socket belongs to root, so a normal user who isn't in the docker group can't pull images. Keep using sudo sparkbox up on this VM. Since the box was down for a while, also open Updates in the dashboard and install the latest version, and run the one command it shows if it asks for a manual step.
