Trouble getting immich to use external hard drive

I figured out how to get jellyfin to point to my media on an external drive , and i managed to set that drive as the media root as well. now Im having trouble setting up immich on sparkbox. I want it to live on and point to my external hard drive. I tried changing it in the override tab with no success
