Calibre-Web giving an internal server error

Calibre-Web is giving me an internal server error on all pages on launch. According to TomAI Calibre-Web's container is up and healthy. The problem is inside its user database. The traceback ends in AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'name' in cps/ub.py, where Calibre-Web loads its anonymous (guest) user record. That record is missing from its database. Calibre-Web needs it for every request that isn't signed in, including the login page and the error page, so every visit ends in a 500.
