Sorry—the guide link didn't diagnose your setup, and I can't confirm it applies here. Port-forward entries alone don't tell us whether Plex is reporting remote access as reachable from outside. As a first check, could you share the exact remote-access status Plex shows and the SparkBox version shown on your dashboard? I've corrected what I know so this generic guide isn't treated as a confirmed fix for the next person.

Plex, under Remote Access shows: ------------------ Not available outside your network Your server is signed in to Plex, but is not reachable from outside your network. ------------------ Sparkbox version is v1.6.935

Thanks, that confirms Plex is signed in but remote access still cannot reach it. The port-forward entries alone don't tell us whether there's another NAT layer upstream. As one check, compare the WAN IPv4 shown by your router with the public IPv4 your connection presents to an external IP-check page; please reply only whether they match, not either address. If they differ, there may be another NAT layer; if they match, we can check the forwarding path next.

Hi chromakey1, Chris again with one addition to my last message, because it's the most common cause of exactly this on a SparkBox Linux box. SparkBox runs Plex inside a container on its own internal network, so Plex can't see your Eero or open the port itself. When the port is forwarded by hand, as you did, Plex also has to be told which outside port to use, or its reachability test keeps reporting "Not available outside your network". In Plex, open Settings → Remote Access (the option may sit under Show Advanced), tick Manually specify public port, enter 32400, then click Apply or Retry. Only 32400 TCP needs forwarding to the Fedora box. 32410–32414 UDP are for finding the server on your home network and are best not forwarded to the internet. If it still shows red after that, the router-versus-IP-check comparison from my last message is the next thing to tell me (just whether they match). Separately, since April 2025 Plex needs Plex Pass or a Remote Watch Pass to play away from home. That's Plex's rule, not a connection problem.
