SparkBox releases shipped on Tue Oct 13, 2026 (UTC), in order, newest at the bottom. This thread is updated as releases land during the day. Update from the SparkBox dashboard, or run sudo sparkbox upgrade on your SparkBox host. Legend boxes get every release the day it ships; free boxes get it after it has run there for a week. Earlier days: Mon Oct 12, 2026 · Sun Oct 11, 2026 · Sat Oct 10, 2026 · Fri Oct 9, 2026 · Thu Oct 8, 2026 · Tue Oct 6, 2026 · Mon Oct 5, 2026 v1.6.926 — Seerr starts again on boxes set up under a second user account - Seerr: on a box where SparkBox was installed from a user account other than the first one (or a NAS whose settings name a different user), Seerr could not write to its own settings folder, so it stopped a second after starting and kept restarting, and the dashboard said it had not started. Repair Seerr did not help because it gave the folder to the same wrong user. SparkBox now hands that folder to the user Seerr actually runs as every time it starts or updates, and Repair Seerr does the same, so after this update Seerr opens again with nothing for you to do. v1.6.927 — Commands in support replies and app error logs are no longer cut by the privacy filter - Privacy: SparkBox hides the names of what you download and watch from Tom AI and support. It also mistook a common piece of Python code for a subtitle file name, so a copy-paste check sent to you in a support reply could arrive broken, and error logs Tom AI read for you lost a line it needed. Code like that now comes through intact, while real subtitle file names are still hidden. Nothing for you to do.
