HI! Been surprised as to how much time I've spent on Spark Fleet! It's been great so far and I cant wait to see where this goes! Currently farming credits to get the highest restoration rank possible :) Here are some things that I have noted over the past few sessions: - When logging out in tier 4 space and above, ships are so aggressive and big that they end up pushing me outside of safe zones and kill me while offline. - Add a way to remove fitted weapons, ordnance and modules. - One of my ordnance is set to F key but that only switches to the fleet management option. - Big ships (Bastion Dreadnought,Leviathan Hauler): They are so big that most weapons cant reach the enemies as they can barely shoot farther than the ship itself. They are so big that the mining laser cannot reach mining nodes. Fuel efficiency seems poor, at 33% power range is not enough to reach next closest station. Sold mine first Bastion Dreadnought at a 1.1M loss just to be able to generate more credits. Maybe the fleet could be able to mine and loot to circumvent the size of the ships and adding emphasis on cost of operation of bigger ships since you also need a fleet to efficiently run them. - Refits, I got the Godhammer refit for my Dreadnought and after destroying a planet the extract option does nothing and after waiting 10 minutes there is a new option that mentions a portable foundry. Where can we find those? are they a refit for another ship? Meaning messing around with black holes technically requires at least 2 people? - Hanger feature? Where players can store acquired ships and move from one to an other when docked at stations. I believe that Star Citizen has a similar feature where it is normally done at home world and has a fee/delay when a ship is ordered form elsewhere in the system. - on the topic of being able to own multiple ships, that would be a way to add more to the gameplay loop since players would be able to collect multiple ships, restore them individually, buy their refits, weapons. restorations could then be based off of a % of ship price. same for structure/mount customization. - Is the world finite? Old Fold seems to be as far as I have been able to go before what looks like infinite void. The world is going at a 45 degree incline South-West. - Fuel reserves, is there no way to make them larger? Apart from the occasional fuel found in dead ships, there seems to be no way to over fuel ships to have more range for deep exploration. -USS ButtStuff

Thanks for both lists, and for playing this much of the alpha. This is exactly the kind of playtest note the Fleet needs. A few of these read as bugs rather than wishes: ships pushing a logged-out ship out of the safe zone in tier 4+, the F key opening fleet management instead of firing that ordnance, the mining laser drifting out of range, and Player Record not working. For those, the in-game Report a bug button is the fastest route. It attaches your recent game context and gives you a report ID you can paste here, so the report and this thread connect. The rest (selling weapons at stations, jettisoning just the cheap cargo, refuelling without a fight, a hangar for several ships, bigger fuel reserves, the death pin) are good suggestions, and they stay here on the Fleet board where the game side reads feedback. I won't promise if or when any of them land; the alpha has no fixed roadmap date. I'm not going to guess at the Godhammer / portable foundry question or where the map ends. I'd rather someone who works on the game answers those than give you a wrong one.

Great feedback! Thanks so much for playing the game. When I saw your ship logging in one day I literally almost choked on my milk! Will implement all these and more!

Thanks again for the detailed notes. Fixed in 0.9.5, live now: ▎ ▎ - Ship pushed out of the safe zone while logged out: your parked ship is no longer shoved around by passing fleets. ▎ - Hangar: you can now own more than one ship. Buy a new hull at full price and keep your current one parked. Swap while docked for a small crew fee, with up to 6 parked ships that can't be shot or lost. Restoration and weapons are per ship. ▎ - Remove fitted gear: guns, modules and ordnance all have a Remove button in the Fitting tab, with half the fitting cost back. ▎ - Selling and jettisoning: looted weapons sell at any station, and cargo can be jettisoned docked or in flight. ▎ - F key: if ordnance is on F it fires. Fleet control moves to Shift+F or its button. ▎ - Big ships: guns now measure range from the hull edge, and capitals mine from the field edge. ▎ - Mining: miners now hold a fixed spot in beam range instead of circling. ▎ - Fuel: capitals have much bigger tanks, and there's a new Fuel Tank section for more reserve. If you run dry, the card points you to a nearby fuel station. ▎ - Fleet collisions: your own wing no longer pushes your flagship around or blocks U-turns. ▎ - Messages and bug reports: text no longer disappears while you type. ▎ - Death: the death screen now says which system your wreck is in. ▎ ▎ On your questions: ▎ - The map: the charted galaxy is finite, but past it the plane is generated void and has no hard edge, so you can keep flying. ▎ - Godhammer: it's a siege weapon. It collapses the planet instead of extracting from it. Sealing the gravity scar afterwards needs a Foundry, which is its own refit of a Freighter or Leviathan, and the hangar now makes it practical to own both. ▎ ▎ Still open: Player Record. If it's still broken, press Report a bug in game and paste the report ID here.

- Jettison, why not also be able to sell weapons at stations? - Jettison, feature to do the same with ship cargo if full but want to remove less valuable cargo? - Fleet, they keep pushing me around and collision blocks me from doing u-turns in tight areas and makes navigation hard at times. - Mining, ship cant stand still and VERY often goes to far away to keep laser active. - Player Record, does not seem to work at the moment. - Refueling, either at fuel stations or requesting emergency fuel, there does not seem to be a way to simply refuel without destroying the station or killing the ship and aggroing ships. - Pin on last death or none on purpose to make it harder to find our previous ships and add emphasis on «exploration risk»? - Messages (everything outside the Comms tab eg: clan chat, whisper, private message), including the bug report page, the text dissapears within a few seconds of starting to type, making impossible to finish the sentence or present send.
