Please forgive me if this is an easy one. I have installed TSB on a dell optiplex 8500 32gb. It installs fine but i am unable to open anything. the address localhost: opens nothing does not matter which app ive tried. What am I doing wrong. I figure there is some sorta setting I must click on/off. I am just confused on what it is asking for. Thank you for any and all help.

Thanks for explaining. Is SparkBox running in Docker Desktop, or in Docker Engine inside WSL/Ubuntu? That distinction changes where we should check first. Also, which app's address did you try, and what port were you given? Please don't change firewall settings yet.

sparkbox is running on a docker engine inside a wsl via windows 11. ive tried all apps and the correct ports. Nothing can be accessed except for localhost:8443
Chris wrote:
Thanks, that confirms you're using Docker Engine inside WSL on Windows 11, not Docker Desktop. On WSL's default networking, the dashboard working at localhost doesn't guarantee the app ports are being forwarded the same way, so I wouldn't change firewall settings based on this alone. Please open one app tile and check its link: does the address start with localhost or with a WSL address? If it isn't localhost, try changing only the host to localhost, keeping the same http/https and port. If you've already tried that exact address, tell me which app you tested and just whether the tile showed localhost or a WSL address, plus the browser error; no configuration or logs needed.

hi I been having the same problem after install the program on my windows 11 pc I can't access the program and when I set the password every time i try to loging it give me pass word is wrong I try alot to reset the password and it doing the same can you plesase help me

Sorry you're stuck in a password loop, especially after trying several resets. To narrow down the Windows setup without risking another reset, could you tell me whether SparkBox is running in Docker Desktop or in Docker Engine inside WSL/Ubuntu? Also, are you entering the password on the SparkBox dashboard sign-in page, or inside one of the apps? Please don't post the password or any keys.

I use the program on the website the One-click installer for windows
Chris wrote:
Thanks—that sounds like you downloaded SparkBox for Windows, but I still need to tell which sign-in is rejecting the password. Is it the SparkBox dashboard sign-in, or the sign-in page for a particular app? Please reply with just the page name; don't post your password.

Is it the SparkBox dashboard sign-in i can not get in
Chris wrote:
Thanks, that confirms it's the SparkBox dashboard sign-in—not an app login. Since you've already tried several password resets, please don't repeat them for now. One detail will help me choose the right next step: did the Windows one-click installer give you a dashboard password, or did you create one yourself? Please don't post the password.
PMC25 wrote:
it give the option to create one I even use the sudo line to reset the installation and reinstall it again but have the same problem
Chris wrote:
Thanks—that means you chose a password yourself during setup. Please don't reset it again yet. After creating it, did you ever get into the SparkBox dashboard, or did it reject the password the very first time you tried to sign in? Just tell me which happened; don't post the password.
PMC25 wrote:
it reject the password

I'm sorry that creating a password and reinstalling still left you locked out. Please don't reset or reinstall again for now. In a private/incognito browser window, open the same SparkBox dashboard sign-in page and type the password yourself instead of using autofill. Does it still say the password is wrong, or can you sign in? Please don't post the password.
PMC25 wrote:
yes is do the same wrong password
Chris wrote:
I'm sorry—the private-window check and reinstall still left you locked out, and I don't want you repeating resets. Please reply with just the address shown in your browser when the SparkBox dashboard sign-in is open (the beginning through the port is enough, such as http://localhost:8443); don't include a password or any private link details. That will help distinguish a sign-in/session problem from reaching a different page.

I'm sorry the first password attempt failed and the reinstall didn't help; please don't reset or reinstall again. Your diagnostic shows no running containers, so before we troubleshoot sign-in, can you tell me which Docker setup the Windows one-click installer is using on your PC: Docker Desktop, or Docker Engine inside WSL/Ubuntu? Please don't post passwords or logs.

Docker Engine inside WSL

Thanks—that confirms you’re using Docker Engine inside WSL, not Docker Desktop. The dashboard diagnostic showed no running containers, and you said the password was rejected on the very first sign-in, so please don’t reset or reinstall again yet. In the Ubuntu/WSL terminal where Docker Engine is installed, run docker ps -a and tell me whether it lists any containers and their STATUS values. Please leave out passwords, environment values, or other details.

That output is Linux’s process list, not Docker’s container list, so it doesn’t tell us whether SparkBox’s containers exist. In the same Ubuntu/WSL terminal, please run the exact command from my last reply: docker ps -a. Share only the container names and STATUS values; if it reports an error, share just the error text. Please don’t reset or reinstall again.

Thanks—that is the Docker container list, and it shows the SparkBox dashboard is running and healthy now; the earlier report of zero running containers is no longer current. Since http://localhost:8443 opens the dashboard sign-in page, the browser is reaching it, so let's not change Windows networking or reset/reinstall again. In the Ubuntu/WSL terminal, run sudo sparkbox doctor and share only the SparkBox version plus any dashboard-related WARN or ERROR lines (please leave out passwords, tokens, and unrelated output). Once sign-in is sorted, we can check the app links separately.
