I am trying to delete the indexer so it does not load at all, so I am just using my Usenet service prefer it over qBittorrent, but it keeps coming back and grabbing queues anyway. How do I disable or delete it altogether from my box?

SparkBox 1.6.795 fixes the behavior where it re-added qBittorrent to Sonarr or Radarr, or switched it back on, during a media-app connection check. Run sudo sparkbox update, then sudo sparkbox up; after that, remove or disable qBittorrent in the relevant app's download-client settings. If by “indexer” you mean a torrent indexer rather than qBittorrent itself, remove it in Prowlarr instead—Prowlarr syncs indexers into Sonarr and Radarr.

I apologize for the late reply. I was able to delete what I needed, but while exploring the new dashboard, I inadvertently enabled all the containers. Is there a way to revert back to just loading the media center instead of all the other 50 or so containers loading everytime?

Thanks for the update—glad you were able to remove what you needed. I don’t want to guess at a dashboard control and risk changing which apps start. Please reply with the SparkBox version shown in your dashboard and whether this is Windows/WSL (Docker Engine or Docker Desktop), Linux, or a NAS; then I can give you the right way to get back to the media-center-only setup.

Glad you found a comfortable way to get back to the classic dashboard on Windows/WSL. Thanks for letting me know.

but still have all of the apps running

I understand—the Classic view changed, but all the apps are still running. Switching dashboard views doesn't necessarily stop containers, so please don't remove or disable anything yet. What exact SparkBox version is shown in your dashboard, and does it show those containers as running there?

Sorry, I misread your earlier message, and you shouldn't need to answer more questions to get this. The dashboard view you pick (new or Classic) only changes the screens. Which apps run is set by the App Store switches, and they work the same on any version. To get back to just the media center: 1. In the Classic dashboard, open App Store at the top of the page. 2. Switch off every app you don't want and leave Media Center on. Nothing changes yet; a bar at the bottom counts them ("N to remove"). 3. Press Apply changes and confirm. SparkBox stops and removes those apps. Their data and settings stay on disk, so if you switch one back on later it picks up where it left off. The dashboard itself and SparkBox's core services always keep running; that's expected. One check: when it finishes, the App Store should show only Media Center switched on. If an app you switched off is still running after that, reply with its name and I'll take it from there.

You're very welcome—glad to hear it's moving and that you're enjoying SparkBox. Once it finishes, if an app you switched off is still shown as switched on, let me know which one.
