Patch shipped: v1.6.731 — sparkbox down --hold keeps SparkBox down across reboots
Posted by Chris
These SparkBox updates are now available: v1.6.731 — sparkbox down --hold keeps SparkBox down across reboots - sudo sparkbox down --hold stops every app and keeps SparkBox down through as many reboots as you like. Until now sparkbox down stopped the apps but the reboot self-heal started them again at the next boot, and switching that off by hand was undone the next time you ran up; nothing said so. When you are ready, sudo sparkbox up starts your apps and switches the reboot self-heal back on in the same step. A plain sparkbox down is unchanged. - Tom AI can now answer how to keep SparkBox down across reboots, and explains three more earlier releases in plain language instead of saying the fix was not recorded: what the assistant learns from your yes to a proposed fix, the Legend price returning to $49, and the supporters strip on the login screen. Update from the SparkBox dashboard, or run sudo sparkbox upgrade on your SparkBox host. If a problem remains after updating, submit a private support ticket or reply here. Include your SparkBox version and what you see; leave passwords and licence keys out.
