Patch shipped: v1.6.704 — A failed install no longer leaves your DNS changed
Posted by Chris
These SparkBox updates are now available: v1.6.704 — A failed install no longer leaves your DNS changed - If an install fails before SparkBox starts, the installer now puts the host's DNS back the way it was: it turns the systemd-resolved stub listener back on and restores /etc/resolv.conf. Previously a failed install left the DNS change made for Pi-hole in place on a box that never got SparkBox. - A finished install, an upgrade on a box that already runs Pi-hole, and anything else already holding port 53 are left exactly as they are. Update from the SparkBox dashboard, or run sudo sparkbox upgrade on your SparkBox host. If a problem remains after updating, submit a private support ticket or reply here. Include your SparkBox version and what you see; leave passwords and licence keys out.
