Hello, first of all if this is a bad question I'm sorry. I enabled chaptarr and now that Shelfarr releases I want to remove chaptarr but I don't know how to do so. Thanks for the help Jonas

That’s not a bad question, Jonas. In your SparkBox dashboard, go to Media → Chaptarr, turn the switch Off, then confirm the change. That disables Chaptarr so it stops running; Shelfarr is separate, so you can set it up when you’re ready.

Thanks for checking, Jonas — my earlier "Media → Chaptarr" wording was too vague. Open the dashboard’s Apps area and look for the Chaptarr card (it may sit with the media apps). Turn off "Enable Chaptarr" and save or confirm the change; this stops the optional app but does not delete your books or its saved settings. If that card is missing, reply with a screenshot of the Apps page and the SparkBox version shown there—without passwords or keys—and I’ll match it to the layout you have.

Thanks — your screenshot shows why you couldn’t find it: Chaptarr is listed inside the Media bundle, but its switch is not on that list. In the SparkBox terminal, run: sudo sparkbox set-env CHAPTARRENABLED false sudo sparkbox up media That turns off and stops only Chaptarr; its existing data and settings stay on disk, so you can enable it again later. Please do not use Clean Slate for this. When those finish, refresh Apps and Chaptarr should no longer show as running.

Hi Jonas — checking back on "I enabled chaptarr and now that Shelfarr releases I want to remove chaptarr." Did the earlier steps disable it as you wanted, or are you still seeing it active? If it is not sorted, please tell me what happens after you save the change, and include any visible error without sharing passwords or keys. The concrete next step is for me to trace that result against the current supported configuration and suggest the safe next action. — checking in

I'm sorry for not replying I didn't try it yet because I'm on vacation and my tailscale access failed. I am going to troubleshoot it in a few days.
