Apps that go through VPN

I know I saw this somewhere, but now I can't find it... Using the Media Server apps, which apps will hit the internet through the VPN, vs which apps hit the internet but without using the VPN? I assume gluetun doesn't have a local interface like the other apps?

Everything else goes direct — Jellyfin, Seerr, Bazarr, and Notifiarr. And it's actually the reverse of what you guessed: gluetun holds the VPN connection, and the VPN apps share it — they don't have their own. That's why when the VPN drops, downloads stall but Jellyfin keeps playing fine.
