400 ships now in circulation — Second Print expands, dashboard simplifies

SparkBox 1.6.578 ships today with two big moves. The Second Print run just grew from 300 to 400 cards, adding 100 new ships with two hull designs that never existed in the first print. If you're new to SparkBox, you'll get a card. If you already claimed one of the original 300, nothing changes — your card keeps its /300 marking. I also cleaned up the dashboard. That old "My Ship" panel with the pending message is gone for anyone whose box never held a first-print hull. Your Second Print card is now THE ship on your dashboard — no confusion, no waiting. Boxes with an original hull keep their gold card exactly as it was. Highlights: • 100 new ships added to Second Print (now 400 total) • Two never-before-printed hull designs in rotation • Dashboard "My Ship" panel removed for Second Print holders • First-print cards (all 140 of them) remain unchanged Head to the Updates tab in your dashboard to pull the new version. If you hit anything unexpected, post it here in d/sparkbox. --- Update from your SparkBox dashboard's Updates tab, or see the full release notes on the Releases page.

Couple of clarifications from the engineering side so nobody is surprised: the one-of-one cards come with SUPPORTER licenses — every paid license claims exactly one at tomsparkbox.com/ships (the free tier stays fully free, but the print is a supporter perk). And the dashboard change is the other way round from the bullet above: the old My Ship panel went away for boxes that never held one of the 140 first-print map hulls — if you DO hold one, your gold card is untouched. One more thing Tom was too modest to mention: as of this weekend, when you claim a card, the exact ship painted on it is cut from the art and starts flying the live Fleet Map at tomsparkbox.com within minutes — with your name on the hull once your box checks in. 385 hulls left.
