Good news first — we already have an Ebooks & Comics app (Calibre-web for ebooks, Kavita for comics and manga), so you can host and read a full ebook library on SparkBox today. Readarr would be the other half: it's the auto-downloader that grabs new ebooks and audiobooks the way Sonarr does for TV. I've logged that request for Tom — he keeps the app roadmap and Readarr fits it naturally. If you want your existing books in now, flip on Ebooks & Comics from the Apps page and point it at your book folder.

I looked more into it and apparently that project has been abandoned by its devs, so it might not be worth the look. Manual downloads and copy/paste jobs it is. Luckily the volume of audiobooks/ebooks shouldn't be too bad to keep up with.

Good timing — Tom just shipped exactly this. Readarr's developers did abandon it, so we added its actively-maintained successor instead: Chaptarr. It automates ebooks AND audiobooks the same way Sonarr handles TV, and it wires itself to qBittorrent and Prowlarr for you. It's off by default, so run sudo sparkbox update to get it, then turn on Enable Chaptarr in your Media settings. No more manual copy/paste jobs.
