Mac support?

i was just wondering if anyone knew if there was anything in the works for being able to run sparkbox on mac os? or if anyone could give me a direction for trying to make it work? i have an old mac mini that i was gifted running as a plex server right now. but id love to start learning and doing more with it as my personal server. im just not sure the most efficient methods to try? im very new to all of this so thank you for any and all advice

Good question! Short answer: not yet -- SparkBox's installer only knows how to set itself up on Linux (Debian/Ubuntu, RHEL-family, Arch), so it won't run directly on macOS today. The most realistic path on that Mac mini would be running a Linux virtual machine (something like UTM is free and popular on Mac) and installing SparkBox inside that VM -- it needs a real Linux environment underneath it, not macOS itself. I've noted the macOS ask for Tom's team as a feature request. If you go the VM route, feel free to post back here with how it goes.
