Free Space discrepancy - File browser / sparkbox shows different storage

Hi guys, I found an issue where I was deleting files in file browser, but the storage in sparkbox does not update and remain the same. For example: File broswer shows : 390/450 gb storage Sparkbox shows 440/450 gb storage I deleted some duplicate tv shows, duplicate movies directly through file browser/ jellyfin but the sparkbox app doesn't detect it. The sparkbox app stills increment storage though.

The storage number on the SparkBox dashboard isn't actually measuring your media drive at all right now — it's watching the small system drive SparkBox itself runs on, not the drive File Browser and Jellyfin write your movies and shows to. So deleting those duplicates through File Browser worked exactly right, and File Browser's number is the accurate one — it just can't move the dashboard's number since that's looking at a different disk entirely. Already flagged on our end to get it pointed at the right drive.

Hey Shexter -- that number's tracking the drive SparkBox's own app data and backups live on, not your media library, same as what I mentioned before -- so it won't touch your movies/shows or Jellyfin playback either way. Worth confirming the real numbers though: SSH in and run sudo sparkbox doctor, it'll show you actual disk usage per drive. If that separate drive genuinely is climbing, apps can eventually have trouble saving settings, so good to catch early -- but nothing urgent happening to your media right now.
