Dashboard now receives service notices for critical updates

We shipped 1.6.512 with a new alert system on your dashboard. If something genuinely urgent happens—like a serious bug that needs manual intervention—you'll see a plain-text notice front and center. I discovered we had no way to reach boxes that silently stopped auto-updating, and that gap bothered me enough to build this. The system is quiet by design: notices are rare, text-only, and only truly critical ones will push-notify you if you've turned those on. Nothing's showing right now—this release just installs the listener so we can talk to you when we need to. Head to the Updates tab in your dashboard to confirm you're on 1.6.512.
