Your opt-out is in. In Settings on the media stack there's now a 'Disable the VPN for the media stack' toggle — it's marked clearly because downloads then run from your home IP. Flip it, restart the media stack once, and you're on the fast path. sparkbox doctor will say 'VPN disabled by your choice' instead of nagging you. Flip it back any time.
