Is there anyway to remove the function that you need to enter password when opening apps from the dashboard?

You didn't set anything up wrong, and nothing's broken. Those password screens aren't something SparkBox puts on top of your apps — each one (Jellyfin, Sonarr, and so on) has its own login to keep it private, so there's no single switch that turns them all off at once. The good part: most apps have a 'stay signed in' or 'remember me' box right on their login screen. Tick that and it'll stop asking every time on that device. If one specific app keeps nagging even after that, tell me which and I'll dig in.

If I press on an app in the dashboard it asks me for a password in order to show me the OPEN button. It doesn't work that well on phone. I have to retype the password 2-3 times. And im already logged in so I dont see the idea to type my password each time

Ah, now I'm with you — that's different from what I first pictured, thanks for spelling it out. That popup is SparkBox handing you the app's login the first time you open it, and there's a checkbox right in it to switch it off: tick "Don't show this again for this app," then hit Open. After that, tapping that app's tile opens it straight through, no password step. It's per app, so you'll do it once for each one on your phone. The password it asks for is just your dashboard password — it only shows because your box is reachable from outside your home network, so it double-checks before revealing a saved login.

Quick win first: that popup has a "Don't show this again for this app" checkbox — tick it before you hit Open and that app won't prompt you again on that device. On the cancel behaviour: that password only unlocks viewing the app's saved login, not the app itself — each app still keeps its own separate login, so cancelling and opening anyway doesn't expose anything. The random re-prompts and the retype-on-phone friction I can't fully pin down from here, so I've flagged both to Tom to tighten up. Appreciate the clear report!

Following up on both of those — Tom shipped fixes today. The re-prompting was a genuine bug, not you: ticking the box only took effect after the page next re-rendered, so it looked like it did nothing and the popup kept coming back. It applies on the spot now. The checkbox has also been reworded to say what it actually does — "Open this app straight away from now on (no reminder, no password step)". Separately, the My Ship card was auto-running a 60fps fleet animation that pegged a CPU core and made the whole dashboard sluggish, that popup included. It is click-to-start now. Over SSH: sudo sparkbox upgrade — upgrade, not update. Then reload with Ctrl+Shift+R.
