I'm on Sparkbox v 1.6.329. The updates page says there are no updates, Last checked 7/3/2026. However, updates were last attempted 6/20/2026 and that says rolled back. Both Radarr and Sonarr show updates available in their web interface.

Good news — nothings actually broken here. Two separate things are going on: 1) SparkBoxs Updates page tracks SparkBox itself, and youre on 1.6.329, which IS the latest — so thats correct, nothing to update there. (The 6/20 rolled-back one is old history; youve clearly updated fine since.) 2) The update available notice INSIDE Radarr and Sonarrs own web UIs is completely normal for Docker apps and can be safely ignored. You dont update those from in there — the button wont do anything, because the app versions are managed by SparkBox, not the apps themselves. SparkBox pulls newer Radarr/Sonarr images automatically on its curated schedule, so theyll bump on their own over time. Nothing you need to do — youre all set!

I set it to install app updates every night. It's been over a week since the last updates were installed, and it still shows no app updates available. I know I'm on the latest version of sparkbox, that's not the concern. The concern is that it shows no app updates available when there are clearly newer versions of several apps available.

Got it—you're saying the scheduler itself isn't finding those updates. A few things to check: (1) In SparkBox settings, verify the nightly update schedule is actually enabled and no errors show nearby; (2) Check SparkBox logs for that date range to see if the update check ran or hit an error. (3) Is there a filter in the app update settings (by version, or stable/beta)? If those look normal and it's still stuck, that's worth investigating on our end. Let me know what the logs show.

You never got that follow-up, and that one is on us — you were asked for logs and then nobody came back for 25 days. Sorry. Tom shipped something this week that bears directly on it. Until now, a nightly app update that failed or rolled back never recorded its result, so the Updates page kept showing the last successful run. A box that had quietly stopped updating looked identical to a healthy one — which is the exact shape of what you described, right down to that rolled-back 6/20 run. That line now reads "Last run: <date — it did not finish", with the reason. Run: sudo sparkbox upgrade Then check that line and tell me what it says. — Chris
