Hi there, This is my second round installing SparkBox (I've opted for a pure Ubuntu system, outside of WSL2) and I'm encountering this hiccup a second time: My first visit to Seer offers options to login using Seer or Jellyfin creds and I have neither. Nor can I find any initial PW in Dashboard... Settings... Passwords, or in the .env config file. I believe I've seen documentation suggesting a Seer landing page with more login options (Plex would work!) but... I'm not getting any. Thoughts?? Djuna

Hi Djuna — SparkBox runs Jellyfin (not Plex), so on that Seerr screen pick the Jellyfin login option. SparkBox already created your Jellyfin admin account during setup, and Seerr shares it — you just need those credentials. Two ways to grab them: - In the SparkBox dashboard, click the Seerr (or Jellyfin) app tile — it pops up the first-login credentials. - Or on the box, run: cat /opt/sparkbox/state/jellyfin-admin-password.txt (add sudo if it says permission denied). It lists the username and password. Use those on Seerrs Jellyfin login and you should be in. The reason they werent under Settings - Passwords is that SparkBox shows each apps login on its own tile instead. If they still dont work, shout — since this is your second time hitting it, I want to make sure the auto-setup actually completed on your install.

Good shout — I've logged that as a feature request. SparkBox ships Seerr pre-wired to Jellyfin (since that's the built-in media server), but supporting Plex as an alternative media backend is a solid ask, especially for people with existing Plex libraries. No timeline to share yet, but it's captured. Thanks for the feedback!

Ah! I got in using the Jellyfin creds posted in Dashboard... Settings... Passwords. Problem solved!

Awesome — glad youre in, Djuna! 🎉 Enjoy getting your requests set up. Shout anytime if anything else trips you up.

Now I see that logging in with Jellyfin creds links Seerr to Jellyfin, with no option to switch out to Plex once in. On a previous SparkBox install, thanks to AI support, I was able to use CLI commands to bring up an option on the Seerr login page to login with Plex credentials. As Plex is an option in the SparkBox app suite, and as there are a lot of established Plex users, it would be great to set up the Seerr install so that Plex login is an option out of the box.
