Update shipped: v1.6.321 — big safety + reliability release
Posted by tomspark
Just pushed v1.6.321. Most of this one is invisible but important: - Backups on NAS boxes now include EVERYTHING — photos, documents, and app databases stored on your big storage pool were being silently skipped before. If you use backups, make a fresh one after updating. - Updates are much gentler now: SparkBox only restarts the apps that actually changed. No more everything-reboots (and no more internet blips if you run Pi-hole) on routine updates. - Fixed a bug where the password you set during a terminal install never worked (browser setup was fine). Same fix sorts out WireGuard's first login. - The new dashboard (V2) got a big polish pass — works properly on phones now, chat has a retry button, and there's a switch in both dashboards so you can hop between classic and V2 whenever. Your choice sticks. - The installer now warns you up front about port conflicts and risky storage setups instead of failing mysteriously at the end. To get it: dashboard Settings - Updates - Update, or from a terminal: sudo sparkbox upgrade If anything looks off after updating, post here and I'll jump on it.
