Theoretical purposes

No idea what I'm doing but I know I need to first obtain a VPN. Suggestions? So that I can begin to ask questions and learn what I should do from there. I'm law-abiding, thoughtful, conscientious and generally caring. I don't have family really, I don't have friends, I have people I see regularly. People I care about but people I don't know actually care about me. For theoretical purposes I want to go down a dark path for funsies. Is there anyone willing to share some knowledge or even take me on as an apprentice.
