v1.6.212: Jellystat + Pinchflat (you asked, they're in) + 20 fixes from a full-code audit
Posted by tomspark
Hot on the heels of tonight's Tom AI update — two new apps and a big reliability pass. New apps, requested right here in d/sparkbox: - Jellystat (asked by Seez) — watch history, per-user activity, and library stats for your Jellyfin. The Tautulli experience, built for Jellyfin. - Pinchflat (asked by Wildwood32) — subscribe to YouTube channels and new videos download straight into your media folder, ready for Jellyfin. Ad-free, offline, yours. Both free like every app. Find them under Apps after updating; setup guides are on the website. There's now a community-requested apps section on the roadmap page — keep the requests coming, most-asked gets built first. The audit: I ran a full sweep of the entire SparkBox codebase tonight and fixed 20 real bugs. The ones you'd actually notice: - Backups on UGREEN/NAS were quietly backing up the wrong folder (a near-empty legacy dir, not your actual library). Fixed — open Duplicati and re-run your backup job after updating. - The automatic media-folder permission fix now targets your REAL media folder on NAS installs — a long-standing cause of "root folder is not writable" in Sonarr/Radarr. - Lidarr, SABnzbd, and FlareSolverr now auto-recover after a VPN reconnect (they used to stay dead until the next restart). - sparkbox config no longer silently regenerates your passwords and backup key if you re-run it on a working box (this could break apps and old backups — now it warns and stops). - sparkbox doctor now reports ALL problems instead of stopping at the first one. - Standalone Jellyfin/Navidrome empty-library fix on NAS installs, dead AdGuard/Pi-hole port-conflict guard repaired, and a pile more — full list in the changelog. Update: sparkbox upgrade or the dashboard update button. Anything weird, post here. Full notes: tomsparkbox.com/changelog.html
