What's gone stale is the "what changed" list, we stopped adding notes to it after 1.6.177, so the newer versions shipped without an entry even though they're live. On the "generic NAS" label, that's just a cosmetic tag and doesn't change anything about how your apps actually run, so nothing to worry about there.

It is properly fixed now in v1.6.484: every missing version from 1.6.178 up to today has been backfilled from the real commit list, so those releases finally say what changed. Run sudo sparkbox upgrade, then open the Releases tab — it shows the 20 newest, with a Show older releases button underneath for the rest. Worth knowing: the update dialog only lists versions newer than the one you are on, so the Releases tab is where the back catalogue lives. Tom also added a check that stops a release going out with no notes at all.
