fighters missing weight is becoming a pattern, not a one-off thing

looking at the weigh-in results across ufc and pfl events, it's wild how many fighters are just casually coming in heavy now. used to be this was rare — you'd miss weight and actually face consequences. feels like the whole thing's become this informal tax where fighters just accept the fine and we all move on. at some point the athletic commissions have to ask if they're actually regulating anything or just collecting fees.
