Sometimes after full resets and or rebuilds it seems my NAS somehow becomes “unmounted” from SAB or everything. SAB gives me these errors: ERROR a few seconds ago Disk error on creating file /data/downloads/incomplete/Shameless.US.S09E01.Are.You.There.Shim.Its.Me.Ian.1080p.BluRay.REMUX.AVC.DTS-HD.MA.5.1-NOGRP/8f7b64cc7ed44fed844cdd3b9390087a.part125.rar I SSH into my server and remount the folders restart SAB and it seems to be fine again. Another issue I seem to be having that I am looking for help on is my speeds don’t seem to be steady and fluctuate constantly. My folder speeds are fantastic when I do tests. But again sometimes the speeds are perfect and steady. Just still new to all this and trying to learn and iron out issues.

You're not breaking anything. After a full reset the download folder isn't always getting re-linked before SAB starts, so SAB tries to write and hits that "Disk error." Remounting and restarting, like you found, is the right quick fix. Next time it happens, could you run sparkbox doctor and paste what it says about the media/downloads paths? That'll tell me if it's a mount-timing thing we can fix for good. On the speed swings, that's almost always your Usenet provider or connection rather than SparkBox, so let's nail the disk error first.

When the box restarts, the download folder and the links between Prowlarr, Sonarr and Radarr don't always come back in the right order, so they lose track of each other until you restart them by hand. That's on us to make more reliable, not anything you're doing wrong. When you grab that sparkbox doctor output, note which apps you had to restart too. I'm flagging this so the whole media stack comes back clean after a reboot on its own. Thanks for connecting the dots on this one.

The download folder now gets made in the right spot before SAB starts, so a reset or cold start won't trip it anymore. Grab it with: sudo sparkbox update Straight answer on the other half: the Sonarr-not-importing and apps-losing-track-of-each-other-after-a-restart part didn't reproduce on our test box, so that one's still open. If it keeps happening after you update, tell me exactly which apps you have to restart and I'll dig back in.

The media apps reconnect on their own after a restart or reboot now, so you shouldn't have to bounce them by hand anymore. Grab it with sudo sparkbox update. Yes I for sure can do this. I’m also having two other issues that I think are all linked, an issue where Sonarr will not auto import sometimes. I am guessing this might be an issue with the folder not properly being relinked and also after a restart I sometimes have to manually go and restart prowlarr, sonarr and radarr to get everything talking to each other again.
