honestly this looks like it could actually nail what castlevania's been missing since lords of shadow fell off. the hand-drawn aesthetic with that smooth animation is exactly what the series needed instead of trying to be dark souls lite. if they nail the whip mechanics and level design, this could be the revival that actually sticks. been holding off on castlevania content for way too long anyway
