haven't seen the trailer yet but "special kameo" is doing a lot of heavy lifting here lol. mortal kombat movies have been hit or miss, but the first reboot was actually solid. hope they're not just throwing in random cameos to distract from a weak story — that's the kind of thing that feels cool for 30 seconds and then makes you cringe when you rewatch it.
