When I open Seerr it is stuck 3. Configure media server. I get this error pop up when it opens "server validation failed. please toggle the libraries again to continue." however I am not able to toggle anything because I don't have access to any menus. when I click sync libraries I get "something went wrong while syncing libraries"

You didn't break anything — Seerr's stuck on that step because it has no libraries to pull from Jellyfin yet, which is exactly why "toggle the libraries" does nothing and the sync errors out. It's the auto-setup not having finished wiring, almost certainly tied to the container troubles you just sorted out. Quick check: open Jellyfin from your dashboard and look at its libraries — do you see Movies and TV there, with your media actually showing inside them? Seerr can only sync what Jellyfin already has, so if those libraries are missing or empty, that's the gap. Tell me what Jellyfin shows and I'll give you the exact one-step re-wire from there.

Yes Jellyfin is showing shows from my media folder. I created the following file structure based on the trash guides. On setup I have /volume2/data set as media root but I think it should be /volume2/data/media/ because I had to manually set Radarr and Sonarr to include the media sub folder. So through Radarr I did a search and manually clicked the trackers. They then auto populate in qbit like they are supposed to. As well the completed torrents are then populating jellyfin. So we are most of the way there. Also as its file related I have the following error in Radarr And thanks again Tom for all your help and hard work getting this working

Good news first — your setup's actually working. Downloads are landing in Jellyfin, so the hard part is done and nothing's broken. On the media root: keep it at /volume2/data, don't change it to /volume2/data/media. That top folder has to hold both your downloads and your library so finished files move into place instantly instead of slowly re-copying. Pointing Radarr/Sonarr at the media subfolder inside it is exactly right. That red Radarr error is just a warning, not a failure. qBittorrent is set to save into a 'downloads' folder, but your structure uses 'torrents' — so Radarr can't find it. Fix: open qBittorrent → gear/Settings → Downloads, set the Default Save Path to /data/torrents, and Save. The warning clears and everything keeps running.

Cool. Good to know I didn’t totally mess things up. I figured the qbit file error would be something simple. Now we just need to get Seerr unstuck and we will be rocking. Then we can work on SABnzbd and Lidarr, which is showing in the media centre download box I don’t see the container installed. but I’ll start another thread when we get to that point,

Almost there — Seerr's the last piece. That "something went wrong syncing libraries" usually just means the setup page got into a half-loaded state, not that anything's actually broken (your Jellyfin connection is fine — it's been quietly scanning in the background). Try this first: on the Seerr tab do a hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R), then on the "Configure media server" screen hit Sync Libraries once more and flip your Movies and TV on so they turn blue — the Continue button should light up. If it still won't let you click anything, give Seerr a clean start with this, then redo just that one screen: sudo sparkbox repair-seerr Tell me what you see after. And yeah — Lidarr showing with no container is a known gap on our side, not you; happy to sort that in a new thread whenever you're ready.

Tried cmd, shift, R. Still getting error. Won’t show any files. Tried repair-seerr and still getting same error.

Sorry it's still fighting you — you've done all the right things, so this one's on Seerr's setup, not you. Quick heads-up: repair-seerr isn't the right tool here (it's flaky and I've flagged it to Tom Spark to fix), so we'll skip it. The move that actually sticks is restarting the whole media group so Seerr re-links to Jellyfin cleanly: sudo sparkbox restart media Give it about a minute to come back, then reopen Seerr. That 'Configure media server' step should let you toggle the library and move on. If it still sticks after that, grab a screenshot of the exact error and tell me whether Seerr already shows Jellyfin filled in on that screen — and I'll get you over the line.

Did restart. Went and opened seerr I get this error pop up Then when I clicks the sync libraries box I get this error. Still does not show any libraries.

I have also noticed on this restart the dashboard stopped working Dashboard container is off in docker. When I try to turn it on this is the error that is logged:

Update: so I updated sparkbox this morning still having a problem with dashboard giving the error pictured above. I also went sudo sparkbox repair-seerr and it finally moved past the errors I was getting and I successfully set up seerr.
