How to support the project?

Hey guys, A bunch of you have been asking how to support SparkBox — "Can we donate?", "Can we pay you for this?" So here's the deal. For now, SparkBox is staying 100% free for the life of the project. Same goes for demox.world — a privacy-friendly Reddit alternative that runs with no data collection, no data selling, and no ads. The reason is simple: I think everyone should be able to access self-hosting, and the value you bring as a community outweighs whatever I'd make charging for it. Just in the past few weeks we've shipped a ton of patches, mostly because you guys keep reporting and helping. If you do want to help support the project, here’s how: My VPN link: If you use my VPN link or want to check out hosting sparkbox on a VPS, that helps. Backer programs: If you want to directly support the project, finance development, and help me develop more features and keep working on it, you can choose the $29 option or the $49 option. No money? Well, share it with your friends. Promote it on forums like reddit or other options to spread the word. That helps too! Both of these backer programs are considered donations, and it’ll give you a cool badge on the website and give your ego a boost knowing you backed some cool privacy projects and you're on the backer list. Secondarily, I have also been in development of other privacy projects and if you do pay for these bonuses, and DM me, I can send you trial keys to other projects in development. Right now I have a privacy friendly sticky note app that is pretty much done, I just haven't had time to make a video about it. Consider the donation an "all access" payment to any future projects I develop. If you like my work here and want to help continue to support the project and see its development succeed completely, and you don’t have the money or funds, it’s not necessary.
